- Cooling circuit optimization for the M 133 turbo engine The 2.0L M 133 turbo engine in models such as the AMG A 45 (W176) uses an indirect intercooler circuit that employs a separate cooling water circuit to cool the charge air.
- Lowering the cooling water temperature is the key to increasing performance.
- The Wagner Tuning side water cooler solves this bottleneck: The 77% increase in volume (3.15 liters vs. OEM 1.79 liters) massively increases the amount of coolant and cooling capacity.
