Description
Toyota Camry Hybrid XV50 (12-17) BC Racing RM Series MH Coilovers | 6/3kg.mm
BC Racing RM Series MH Coilovers are engineered specifically for the Toyota Camry Hybrid XV50 (12-17), delivering professional-grade suspension tuning with a 6/3kg.mm spring rate setup. This performance coilover system features inverted shocks with camber pillowball top mounts at the front and inverted dampers with integrated pillowball top mounts at the rear, providing enhanced handling precision and adjustability for serious drivers. Whether you're seeking improved cornering performance or a more responsive driving experience, BC Racing's proven engineering brings track-inspired suspension technology to your Camry Hybrid.
BC Racing RM Series Coilovers
The BC Racing RM Series features high-quality damping-adjustable monotube inverted dampers at the front, or front and rear depending on the vehicle. The RM offers the majority of the features of the BR Series with the additional benefit of the inverted damper unit — a design that reduces unsprung weight and moves vital damper fluid away from detrimental heat sources to prevent the overheating that causes damper fade under extreme track use.

Reduced Unsprung Weight
Unsprung weight is reduced by moving the oil and gas reservoir away from the hub and attaching it to the shell. A lighter wheel and hub assembly responds more readily to road bumps, maintaining greater grip over imperfect surfaces. High unsprung weight can lead to wheel hop on bumpy ground, reducing both ride quality and ultimate handling.
Reduced Heat Transfer to Damper Fluid
Hard-driven cars generate significant heat within the braking system, conducted through the hub into the damper unit. By inverting the damper, the oil and gas reservoir is moved away from the hub, reducing conducted heat reaching the fluid. Keeping oil and gas temperatures lower maintains consistent damping rates — allowing you to corner faster for longer.
Reduced Flex
The large 42mm damper rod combined with the inverted design gives the RM units significantly greater strength and resistance to side loadings during hard cornering, resulting in more consistent steering geometry and more predictable, responsive handling.
The MH configuration is supplied with inverted dampers and aluminium pillowball top mounts on the front, and inverted dampers with pillowball top mounts on the rear.
