MTS Technik
MTS Technik started out in the tuning scene before becoming focused on performance suspension. Their focus has always been the same: to provide a vast range of steadfast sport suspension at a price that makes car modification more accessible to all enthusiasts.
The Polish manufacturer specialises in affordable coilover kits, combining its own suspension engineering with components from established manufacturers such as Eibach. With Comfort, Street and Stance configurations, the range caters to everything from daily-driven cars to more heavily lowered builds. As a family company with two decades of expertise, they focus on three things: affordability, reliability, and a comprehensive offering for car enthusiasts.
- Over 20 years of development
- Eibach springs fitted to most coilover kits
- hexaCOIL spring perches designed to reduce seized adjustments
- ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management
- Comfort, Street and Stance configurations
What Is MTS Technik?
The family-run company has been designing and producing sports suspensions since 2005. Under the VenomCarZ name, they began by selling tuning parts and accessories before the business became increasingly focused on performance suspension. MTS Technik was launched as its own suspension brand in 2008 with a growing range of quality coilover kits.
Today, MTS Technik operates under Nord Performance and remains a family business with the same basic aim: offer a broad range of reliable sport suspension at a price that makes modifying a car more accessible.
Quality control has also become a bigger part of the brand as it has grown. MTS Technik achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification and became registered with the German KBA as a sport suspension manufacturer, reflecting their care for quality.
MTS Technik Coilovers
The range brings together proven components and MTS Technik's own suspension engineering to tackle common aftermarket suspension problems, from corrosion and seized adjustment collars to long-term performance.
- Eibach Springs: Most MTS Technik coilover kits use springs manufactured by German suspension specialist Eibach, known for its involvement in Formula 1, WRC, and high-performance road cars. Their springs are produced using high-grade steel with tight manufacturing tolerances for consistent performance and durability.
- hexaCOIL Spring Perches: MTS Technik's own spring perch design was developed and tested over two years to tackle seized adjustment collars. Included in most kits, the hexaCOIL design helps keep ride-height adjustment straightforward over time.
- Golden Zinc Corrosion Protection: Steel components receive a distinctive golden zinc coating to protect against corrosion, while aluminium components feature a black anodised finish for additional protection.
- Threaded Ride-Height Adjustment: Threaded suspension bodies allow ride height to be adjusted within the kit's specified lowering range, giving drivers control over how their car sits.
- Engineered Damping Characteristics: MTS Technik develops its damper characteristics through engineering calculations, laboratory testing and road testing. The dampers are designed to work with the Comfort, Street and Stance configurations without requiring a different shock absorber when moving between series.
MTS Technik Coilover Series
MTS Technik offers three suspension configurations developed for different driving preferences, from comfortable daily use to more substantial lowering.
- Comfort Series: Designed to improve handling and allow ride-height adjustment while preserving as much everyday ride comfort as possible.
- Street Series: The configuration recommended by MTS Technik's engineers, combining a broad lowering range with a balance between ride comfort and firmer suspension characteristics.
- Stance Series: Developed for drivers looking for more aggressive lowering and a stiffer suspension setup, with a particular focus on achieving a closer wheel-to-arch fitment.

Why We Recommend MTS Technik
“When we look at coilover brands, we want to see more than just how low they can take a car. The quality of the components matters, especially on a road car that's going to see plenty of miles and UK weather.
That's where MTS Technik gets a lot right. Most of their kits use Eibach springs, which are a well-established name in suspension, and the golden zinc coating helps protect the threaded bodies against corrosion. They've also put proper development into their hexaCOIL spring perches, tackling the problem of seized adjustment collars that can make changing ride height a nightmare further down the line.
We also like that they've developed three different setups rather than assuming everyone wants the stiffest suspension possible. Whether you're lowering a daily driver or going for a more aggressive stance, there's an option designed around how you want the car to sit and drive.”

MTS Technik FAQs
What are the benefits of installing aftermarket coilovers?
Aftermarket coilovers allow you to adjust your car's ride height while replacing the factory springs and dampers with a matched suspension setup. This can reduce unwanted body movement and improve handling response.
MTS Technik coilovers also feature corrosion-resistant finishes, with Eibach springs and hexaCOIL spring perches included in most kits. These features help improve component durability and make ride-height adjustments easier over time.
How does a sport suspension kit improve handling?
A sport suspension kit can improve handling by using springs and dampers designed to control body movement more effectively during cornering, braking, and acceleration.
MTS Technik coilovers achieve this through matched suspension components and damper characteristics developed through laboratory and road testing. Depending on the chosen series, they can give the car a firmer, more controlled feel while retaining a level of comfort suited to its intended use.
How do you adjust MTS Technik coilovers?
MTS Technik coilovers use threaded height adjustment, allowing you to raise or lower the car within the specified range for your kit.
Ride height is adjusted using the supplied adjustment spanners, with the spring perch or height-adjustment mechanism moved along its threaded section. The hexaCOIL design fitted to most kits helps make this process easier and reduces problems with seized adjustment collars.
Always follow the instructions for your specific kit, carry out adjustments with the suspension safely unloaded where required, and have the wheel alignment checked after changing the ride height.
Are MTS Technik coilovers good for daily driving?
Yes. MTS Technik offers coilover configurations designed for everyday road use, so you don't have to choose an excessively stiff or heavily lowered setup.
The Comfort Series prioritises everyday usability, while the Street Series provides a firmer suspension feel and a wider lowering range without abandoning road comfort. The Stance Series is better suited to drivers who prioritise more aggressive lowering and a stiffer setup.
For most daily-driven cars, Comfort or Street will be the more suitable starting point, depending on how much you want to lower the vehicle and the ride quality you prefer.
